Synopsis

Six days on Italy’s back roads, from one time check to the next, riding motorcycles that are sixty or seventy years old. The film follows the people who ride the Motogiro: an Argentine collector who came from Córdoba after seven months of preparation, a foreign rider who bought his Ducati Turismo 175 after hearing it start up in a garage, a traveller who twenty years ago met very few women on motorcycles. Riders between 20 and 85 years old, rain, falls, a broken shoulder blade, kilometres pushed by hand to reach the finish line. And in between, the history of the race, from the Circuito d’Italia of 1914 to today’s re-enactment.

“When you’re on a motorcycle you have to do one thing only: ride.”
